    STANDARD MODULAR ROLLER CONVEYORS

    TIP:
    Use a roller conveyor with a 75 mm roller pitch if you need to walk on top of the conveyor or if the conveyed product has cardboard feet underneath it.

    LOAD DETECTIONING AND MEASURING OPTIONS

    LIDAR SENSOR OPTION FOR IRREGULARLY SHAPED LOADS

    When the outermost edge of a product cannot be reliably detected with photoelectric sensors, LiDAR sensors offer a cost-effective and dependable solution for detecting challenging load shapes.

    LiDAR sensors can be installed on conveyors and machinery as a direct replacement for dedicated photoelectric sensors.

    To ensure reliable performance in demanding environments, our compressed-air cleaning system keeps the LiDAR lens clean and clear by directing compressed air precisely onto the lens through specially positioned nozzles.

    LOAD MEASURING UNIT

    When product measurement is required, we also supply measurement units specifically designed to measure the product’s height and width.

    This function is often used in applications where palletizing and stacking are performed manually, and the product must not exceed specified dimensions.

    In some cases, the wrapping recipe can also be selected automatically based on the product dimensions.

    WEIGHT SCALE

    Product weight can be measured with OMC-weight conveyor.
    The weight can be used for recipe selection or other validation functionalities.

    The weighing conveyor is based on Siemens SIWAREX WP231 legal-for-trade weighing electronics and Siemens WL230 C3 OIML R60 approved load cells. The components used are approved for legal-for-trade weighing applications.

    PALLET LIFTER

    Pallet lifters improve material handling efficiency and enable smooth product transfer between different stages of the production process. They can be used, for example, to load fully wrapped products or products delivered without pallets onto conveyors, as well as to lift products during the wrapping process.

    All pallet lifters are designed and sized according to the load characteristics and application requirements. Our range includes both pneumatic and motor-driven solutions, providing reliable and safe operation even in demanding industrial environments.

    TURNING ROLLERS

    Turning rollers enable controlled and consistent rotation of cylinder-shaped products during the wrapping process, ensuring high-quality and uniform packaging results. The solution is suitable for radial, axial, and through-the-eye wrapping applications across a wide range of coil products.
    Turning rollers integrate seamlessly with Octomeca wrapping solutions. They can be used with the OMC-H Series for axial coil wrapping and with the OMC-R Series for radial and OMC-Silma for through-the-eye wrapping applications.
    Each solution is engineered according to the coil dimensions, weight, and production requirements, ensuring reliable operation, safe handling, and optimal wrapping performance even in demanding industrial environments.

    SECOND FILM CARRIAGE

    Allows automatic application of a second film type to meet specific packaging requirements.

    EDGE FOLDING UNIT

    Protects reel edges by applying a narrow film rope along the edges of the reel during the wrapping process.

    FILM TAIL GLUING UNIT

    Applies glue to the film tail after wrapping, eliminating loose hanging tails on the wrapped reels.

    CHAIN CONVEYORS

    Octomeca chain conveyors are custom-built to suit each customer’s products and handling requirements. The number and positioning of chain strands ensure that products are supported at the right points, while the conveyor’s length, height and width are tailored to the application.
    Stainless steel chains are available as an option. Transfer points are designed to ensure smooth product movement from one conveyor to the next.

    Octomeca belt conveyors are custom-built to suit each customer’s products and handling requirements. The conveyor’s length, height and width are tailored to the application, with a suitable belt width selected to provide proper support for the product.

    Octomeca designs and manufactures heavy-duty rotating table and crossing conveyor solutions tailored to the customer’s product dimensions and application requirements.

    TURNTABLES

    Rotating table conveyors change the direction of product flow or rotate products for subsequent handling or processing.

    ROTATING ROLLER CONVEYORS WITH POP-UP CHAIN TRANSFER

    When a product needs to be rotated without changing the direction of the conveyor line, this can be done automatically using a rotating roller conveyor with pop-up chain transfer.

    CROSS CONVEYORS

    When the direction of product flow needs to be changed while maintaining the product’s orientation relative to the conveyor, a conventional cross-transfer conveyor can be used to transfer the product in a new direction without rotating it.

    TOP SHEET

    Protech your load with OMC-TSC - Dust proof top sheet option or OMC-TSB - Splash proof top sheet option.

    TSB – SPLASH PROOF TOP SHEET

    In splash proof protection the top sheet is fed between horisontal film layers sealing the product tightly and preventing damages from the moisture.
    Highly recommended for sensitive products which are under the weather conditions.

    TSC – DUST PROOF TOP SHEET

    In dust proof protection the top sheet is fed under film layers, and the sheet is attached to the load with horizontal wrapping.

    CPA - CORNER POST APPLICATOR

    Corner post applicator for foldable or pre-formed corners.
    Protect the corners of your load and increase stability with corner post applicator. Available one to many corner protector magazines. The corner protector are suitable for regular shaped loads with straight edges. Corners are attached to the load with horizontal wrapping.

    VARIABLE POWER PRE-SRETCH CARRIAGE

    Variable film pre-stretch carriage for precisely optimized film consumption.
    As standard the pre-stretch level is adjusted by changing pre-stretch gears. With variable pre-stretch motor, the level can be adjusted with different settings on different parts of the load.

    POWER ROPE

    Power Rope secures the load to the pallet and narrows the film for wrapping products that are lower than the film width.

    END CLOSING APPLICATOR

    The end closing applicator is an optional device for OMC-V Series wrappers that provides six-sided protection.

    RCA - AUTOMATIC ROLL CHANGER 1+3

    Increase efficiency and improve work ergonomics with automatic film roll changer.

    BBA - BOTTOM BLOCK APPLICATOR

    Automatically place EPS or wooden runners under the product and secure them with stretch film using the OMC-V Series wrapping machine.

    POWER PRE-SRETCH FILM CARRIAGE

    A motorized power pre-stretch system stretches the film before application, optimizing film consumption and reducing material costs while maintaining reliable load security.

    TOP SHEET

    The Curtain Wrapping Line provides five-sided protection for timber bundles and includes a top sheet as standard, securely tied to the product with base or logo film.

    Side transfer conveyors move products between parallel conveyor lines. In areas with limited space, they can also provide buffer positions for pallets.
